This blog started off as ramblings about one of my favourite subjects – food. I was once asked by my husband if I had any hobbies, and I was horrified to say that I did not think I had one. Reading ? I used to be a voracious reader, but over the last few years, that seems restricted to holidays, where I do enjoy it and ask myself why I don’t do it more often. I have to say craft seems to be a hobby also, with me starting to buy beads and wires and making earrings and necklaces but even that seems to have fallen by the wayside. Over the years, though, I realise that I do have one thing which I love love love, and that’s food. All aspects of it. Buying it, cooking it and of course, eating it. If I’m travelling I always seek out the produce markets, and I always find the local supermarket to see what they have that I can’t get access to. Thank goodness I now live in Singapore and not Australia, which would never allow the sort of foodstuffs I bring home to enjoy. This blog started 3 years ago, with a one and a half year hiatus. Well, I’m starting it up again, mostly so I can remember the wonderful places that I’ve been privileged enough to be able to eat at. That’s about it, really.
My love of all things food… and other ramblings.

Hey I think I forgot to ask you, but would you mind if I listed you as a versatile blogger in an upcoming post? It’d be along these lines: http://cadencies.wordpress.com/2011/04/02/versatility-my-forte-not/

Carolyn, I love your blog, and recently went to Osteria Mozza, but my photo of the AMAZING raviolo didn’t come out – may I have permission to use yours with a citing in my blog? Thanks, Kate
